Mr Yvon Laquerre join the Sotrem-Maltech Group

Shawinigan can count on Mr. Yvon Laquerre to persue the objectives of the company in the human ressources department. He's taking over Joyce Paquette who accepted a new job in the education field. Mr Laquerre has many years of cumulated experience in the manufacturing industries including the aluminium one. He is full time at the plant since september 26th, 2016. The administration is proud to welcome Mr. Laquerre in the Sotrem-Maltech group.

    The president and CEO of Shawinigan-Aluminum Michel Boudreault and Human Resources Manager Claude Richard assigned December 19th 2019, the new Quality policy of the plant. In a quality management system, a quality policy is a document developed by management to express the directive of the top management with respect to quality. The quality policy reflects the management’s commitment to quality that counts for an organization. It is integrated with corporate objectives and values.
