Inventory Coordinator
Oversee raw materials, alloys, finished goods, and scrap inventory management along with warehousing and receiving operations. Drive inventory reliability, material availability, logistics efficiency, and operational effectiveness through strategic coordination and process optimization.
- Relevant education or equivalent combination of studies and experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory, logistics, or manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency with inventory management systems (GPC or equivalent) and MS Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and priority management abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to coordinate activities and supervise personnel (asset)
- Attention to detail, precision, and thoroughness
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, and initiative
- Fluent in French, both verbal and written
- Receive, validate, and track raw materials and alloys
- Coordinate receiving activities with suppliers and transporters
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records in computerized systems (GPC)
- Plan, organize, and conduct periodic and annual physical inventories
- Ensure raw material availability according to production needs
- Manage warehouse activities (receiving, storage, shipping, PPE)
- Optimize utilization of spaces, resources, and equipment
- Coordinate daily activities and supervise warehouse personnel
- Train, support, and monitor employee performance
- Track inventory and logistics performance indicators
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and procedural standards
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, and shipping departments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of inventory and logistics processes
