Profile
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory)
- Member of Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of project management and industrial maintenance
- Excellent organizational, planning, and priority management skills
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
- Leadership and multi-stakeholder coordination capabilities
- Autonomy, rigor, and analytical thinking
- Fluent in French, both verbal and written
Responsabilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance project progress
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and associated resources
- Conduct or oversee technical studies and feasibility analyses
- Prepare tender documents and coordinate subcontractors
- Ensure work compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations
- Supervise work execution and quality of deliverables
- Identify and implement equipment improvement solutions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on job sites
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, maintenance, engineering)
- Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams
- Participate in planning of major shutdowns and critical work
- Complete all related administrative and reporting tasks
